Q. I get a warning about a problem with my SSL certificate - it's for "low-security.dartware.com" What does this mean?

A. Dartware ships every version of InterMapper with a Dartware-generated SSL certificate. Because it's the same certificate for all customers, it is not secure. It does, however, trivially encrypt the traffic, so it is safe from casual snooping.

If you wish to have a more secure certificate, you can install your own self-signed certificate, or purchase a certificate from a Certificate Authority such as http://instantssl.com, http://verisign.com, or http://thawte.com
